Eli Hoeckele

Being a Hoeckele means you grow up in the bakery, it’s in your blood.

One of my earliest memories of working in the bakery is alongside my dad. He believed in teaching work ethic early, and I’m thankful for that. In 7th grade, I started working one Saturday night a month, learning the ins and outs of donut production, frying, glazing, filling, icing, the whole process. I also learned how to bake coffee cakes, breads, muffins, cookies, and more. I was intrigued. Watching my parents pour their hearts into the business to carry on the family tradition sparked something in me. I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

What drives me in this business is the people. I want every customer who walks through our doors to have the best possible experience. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, I want you to feel welcome like family.

Today, I have the privilege of helping lead Hoeckele’s into its fourth generation. My role focuses on keeping our traditions alive while finding fresh ways to grow from new product ideas to expanding how we connect with the community. I believe deeply in the value of hard work, consistency, and treating every customer with care. And while our roots are deep in this town, I dream big. One day, I’d love to see a Hoeckele’s donut in every town — because no one should be deprived of that kind of joy.

On the personal side, I’m blessed with a beautiful wife, Danielle, and two amazing kids, Brooks and Campbell. I’m passionate about sports whether it’s watching, playing, or coaching and I love spending time outdoors.
